The Ingram New Works Festival is a celebration of new plays from two sources. During the first days of the festival, readings will be presented of plays born and fostered in the newly-created Ingram New Works Lab, a collective of eight Tennessee playwrights-in-residence who will be working together with Tennessee Rep’s support throughout the season on their plays. The festival will culminate with a staged reading of a new play by the recipient of the Ingram New Works Fellowship - Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award - winning playwright David Auburn. The festival will be a launching pad for terrific new work for the American theatre - and your participation as audience members will be an exciting and important part of the process. The Fellowship, Lab, and Festival are all parts of the Martha R. Ingram New Works program.

Tennessee playwrights-in residence: Claudia Barnett, Ross Brooks, Matthew Carlton, Diane Di Ianni, Nate Eppler, McAdoo Greer, Valerie S. Hart.
