Two Nashville published authors, Robert K. Oermann and Sarahbeth Purcell, speak about their journeys as writers. Robert K. Oermann - "the dean of Nashville's entertainment journalists" writes weekly columns for Music Row magazine and has been published in more than 100 other periodicals. He has authored eight books and penned liner notes for more than 100 albums and boxed-sets. Oermann is also a TV and radio script writer/director for dozens of national productions. He is a 1990 graduate of Leadership Music and a 2003 graduate of Leadership Nashville. His latest book, published in 2008, is titled Behind the Grand Ole Opry Curtain.

Hailed by journalists and booksellers alike as "One of the finest voices in under-30 women’s literature" and "One of todays best authors", Sarahbeth Purcell was born into a music and art filled family in Nashville, Tenn., where she now resides with her fiance and their two cats.
