Friends of Circle Players invite you and a guest for a reception in honor of Barbie and George Gurgan on Saturday, May 1. Mrs. Gurgan is the great-great granddaughter of Ida and Isidor Straus, former owners Macy's Department Store and renowned philanthropists at the time of their deaths in the Titanic disaster of 1912. The Straus' undying love for each other motivated them to refuse to separate on board the sinking ship where they died together.
