The classic tale of Clara and her magical Nutcracker who comes to life has a charming Tennessee Centennial setting in this brand new production. Premiering in 2008, this new production brings electrifying new choreography, dazzling new sets, and hundreds of breathtaking new costumes to this unforgettable family holiday tradition! The Nashville Symphony will perform at every performance.

It caused a sensation at its 2008 world premiere, and this year the response is bound to be even bigger! The same traditional Nutcracker story and characters you love, but re-set in 1897 Nashville when Tennessee was on the verge of its grant International Centennial Exhibition and the world was on the cusp of an exciting new century. Sparkling new sets and breathtaking new costumes come to life through the splendid Nashville Ballet dancers and the magnificent Nashville Symphony performing everyone's favorite Tchaikovsky music.
