Celebrate Murfreesboro’s Free Day in May as you explore Tennessee Traditions at Discovery Center!

Hear original and traditional music of the clawhammer-style banjo player John Balch, Murfreesboro native accompanied by Jack and Elizabeth Pearson, starting at 1:00pm.

Enjoy creating a quilt square necklace with artist Karin Bailey-Earith in Creation Station.

Morning activities from 10:00am-12:00pm will find our visitors in the wetlands exploring the world of birds and enjoying special birding activities celebrating Bird Migratory Day.

Free Day in May is funded in part by Arts Build Communities, a program funded by the Tennessee General Assembly and administered in cooperation with the Tennessee Arts Commission.
