The next SNAP ON 2 & 4 at the Nashville Jazz Workshop features trumpeter Rod McGaha.

Rod McGaha is one of Nashville's most original voices on trumpet, and a consistent favorite of Nashville jazz audiences. A longtime NJW faculty and Advisory Board member, Rod studied with the great Clark Terry. His music incorporates many elements, from traditional jazz to bebop, gospel, R&B, and funk, into a wholly original style.

For this Snap on 2&4 performance Rod will be joined by Don Aliquo (saxophone), Jody Nardone (piano), Jerry Navarro (bass), and Nioshi Jackson (drums).

The Jazz Workshop will be donating the net proceeds from this event to the Nashville Musicians Association Flood Relief Fund. In an effort to help rebuild their lives, this money will go directly to local professionals who have lost homes and instruments.

Tickets go on sale May 17 at 10:00am.
