Billups Art will be participating in this month's ArtEast. Owner/Artist Anthony Billups will be our featured artist along with Vagabond Thrift and KB Promotions will be featuring Dennis Zimmerman.

Before being an artist and songwriter, Billups is a fan. "I love this city as much as anyone could. I enjoy seeing the history and truly admire the people and art that has blazed a trail for people like me."

Incorporated in his charcoal drawings and mixed media pieces are a dose of the nostalgia that comes with being a dreamer in Music City. With drawings of the most classic images from Nashville to representations of the most obscure, Billups pays tribute to his "favorite city in the world."

"When I decided to move here, it was because Nashville consisted of everything you would want in a big city, but a small-town, friendly atmosphere," Billups says "its always felt like home."

With a keen eye and representation of value his drawings and mixed media pieces tell a story that most of us know, in some way or fashion. Come see Nashville the way that Billups sees it, and we are sure you will see it too.
