    Gone Fishing tells the story of the Cumberland River, and the history of regional fishing through artifacts, images, and text.

    This exhibit includes:
    * Vintage lures, tackle boxes, traps, rods, and fishing accessories
    * The Clarksville Bass Club (second oldest in the nation)
    * Fish species of the Cumberland
    * Kids sections: fishing game from the late 1800’s, kid’s tackle box, and a display of what you might find at an old “bait” shop
    * A fishing boat suspended from the ceiling
    * The Beaver Paddle Company
    * Video of “fishing stories”
    * Fly fishing section
    * 1976 commemorative fishing display

    Helpful Information: Children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and in all areas of the Museum. Free parking for Museum visitors is available behind the Museum at the top of the hill off South Second Street. Sundays are free for everyone!
