See what happens to the Barber of Seville! Mozart’s genius is on display in this sophisticated masterpiece that infuses comedy into the much darker elements beneath. Director John Hoomes distills Figaro to its delicious dramatic essence in what The Charlotte Observer calls an “artistic triumph.” With the orchestra out of the pit and the action downstage on a platform surround, this highly theatrical staging will pull you into the opera’s emotion. Sung in Italian with projected English translations.
