Summer Celebration: Fireworks Festival

Lipscomb University will conclude its annual Summer Celebration with an Independence Day celebration on Friday, July 2 on the Allen Arena mall, with free games and activities for children, live entertainment by the award-winning group Acappella, plenty of delicious food available for purchase and a large-scale, professional fireworks display. This event, designed for the entire family, is free and open to the public.

Food from Chick-fil-A of Brentwood, Blue Coast Burrito, Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q, Kona Ice and Associated Women for Lipscomb concessions will be available. Everyone is welcome to go inside Allen Arena to attend Summer Celebration’s closing keynote session. Keith Lancaster, founder of the ground-breaking vocal group Acappella, will lead the worship, and Randy Harris, instructor of Bible, missions and ministry at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, will speak. Parking is available and accessible from either Belmont Boulevard or Granny White Pike. Lawn seating will be available. Guests are welcome to bring chairs or blankets.
