Sirens Fall Silent hail from the small town of Pulaski, Tennessee. The band started as a three-piece and eventually evolved into a full fledged 5-piece band with the addition of a full time drummer and rhythm guitarist. While the clear site of good ole country boys might fool most people, looks can be deceiving. Sirens Fall Silent play Metal, and not just your everyday run-of-the-mill stuff. From the very beginning, Sirens Fall Silent has been determined to write great, original music that sets itself apart from the everyday Metal scene and it's common cliches while still remaining to be aggressive and....well....Metal! Mixing Technical Metal with Progressive song structures and crushing breakdowns with a touch of break-beat, Sirens Fall Silent is determined to truly make a name for themselves and set themselves apart within the Metal scene.

This show also features live music sets by Shakodi, The Sunlit Ether, Ray Charles Death Tempo. With Hell At Our Backs.

      Can anything "metal" worth listening to come from a small town in TN? YOU better believe it can! And anyone, who listens to the music of "Sirens fall Silent", would be hard pressed to say otherwise.... Expand

      Can anything "metal" worth listening to come from a small town in TN? YOU better believe it can! And anyone, who listens to the music of "Sirens fall Silent", would be hard pressed to say otherwise. The very fact that a Metal core band could emerge from such a back water town is an anomoly of epic proportions in and of itself. But let it be known that these dudes rock, and in a most serious way. I repeat: the band I'm talking about is "Sirens fall Silent". IF they were typical of your average run of the mill garage band, I wouldn't bother. But these guys are far beyond typical, and light years ahead of the average garage scene as well. Oh they have the metal stuff down to be sure, but there is something oh so different about they're sound, and the style can't be easily described either. It's not just energy I'm talking about. I'd have to say it has something to do with delivery and depth of content in the music. It's not thrash, not dark, and it's not death. But when you hear it, you instantly know that at it's core; it is most decidedly metal. Guitarist Erik Henson, who composes and arranges for the band, says that most of his influence are from all the genre of metal. Bands like Opeth, White Chapel, and as I lay Dying come to mind rather quickly. But his early influence of Blues masters and Rock artists of the mid 60s late 70's also add to the flavor of the music as well. Henson says, "I work on the music and do the general writting, but the band members contribute their insights to the final version of every song. I know that if we as a group feel good about the song, the fans will love it too, and that's what matters most to us." Collapse
