    "Pretty is as pretty does." Jack knows it -- and you know Jack! Old King is lookin' to get the best of him, but Jack's a clever 'un who ain't afeared of hard work nor Bluebeard Giants nor Raggedy-Bones his own self. He'll outfox that Old King, he'll win the heart of Old King's Daughter, and he'll carve out a new world with his own two hands. Drawing from the old-tyme Scots-Irish tales of the Appalachians, NCT's own Scot Copeland and Paul Carrol Binkley have fashioned a delightfully authentic gem of a mountain musical as sweet, dark and rich as the soil from which it sprang. "For the steps of a good man are known by the Lord…”.

    The first weekend of Jack’s Tale consists of workshop performances in an intimate setting with the audience seated on the stage. Subscribers get a deal! For $5 per person subscribers can see one of these four performances and share input and suggestions. The other two weekends are open to the general public at regular ticket prices.
