The Battle of Franklin Trust announced today the organization has formed a strategic alliance with The Heritage Foundation which hosts Dickens of a Christmas. The Trust will present The Carter House Annual Candlelight Tour December 11th and 12th to coincide with The Heritage Foundation’s “Dickens of a Christmas.”

The Carter House started this Franklin tradition 38 years ago and each year brings new life to the evening tours. In addition to the traditional Carter House tour, ten historic homes along West Main Street and Fair Street will be featured this year so guests can walk from house to house.

This is the first time both events are held on the same weekend. This will be the 38th Annual Carter House Candlelight Tour, and the 2nd hosted by the Battle of Franklin Trust. It serves as a main fundraiser for the Trust that manages Carnton Plantation and The Carter House.

Note: The tour starts at The Carter House with refreshments. Then, guests may set their own pace visiting the other ten homes.
