Works from the Baroque period by J. S. Bach and Santiago de Murcia and in the Baroque style by the 20th century’s Manuel Ponce. Plus two important works from the Romantic era: the “Introduction and Caprice” by Guilo Regondi, and Matteo Carcassi’s “Variations on a Swiss Air.” The program concludes with favorites from Spain by Albeniz and Turina and Rodrigo.
