    The next SNAP ON 2 & 4 at the Nashville Jazz Workshop is Friday August 27 and features acclaimed drummer Duffy Jackson.

    Duffy Jackson's credentials read like a who's who of jazz legends. He has performed with Count Basie, Lionel Hampton, Milt Jackson, Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie and many others.     The next SNAP ON 2 & 4 at the Nashville Jazz Workshop is Friday August 27 and features acclaimed drummer Duffy Jackson.

    Duffy Jackson's credentials read like a who's who of jazz legends. He has performed with Count Basie, Lionel Hampton, Milt Jackson, Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie and many others. His powerful, swinging style has driven big bands and small groups. Since moving to Middle Tennessee several years ago he has served on the faculty of the Nashville Jazz Workshop and has appeared in numerous performances. Not only is Duffy a master drummer, he is a superb entertainer and multi-instrumentalist. Fasten your seatbelts for a memorable and swinging evening. Duffy will be joined by Lori Mechem (piano), Roger Spencer (bass), George Tidwell (trumpet), and Denis Solee (saxophone).
