Nashville Ballet is pleased to announce the Nashville premiere of internationally known artist Matt Lamb at the Martin Center for Dance, home of Nashville Ballet, in the Frist Gallery, Saturday, September 18. A reception will be held from 4:00pm-6:00pm with Lamb’s granddaughter present to greet the public and to share Lamb’s philosophy of his art. The exhibit will run through November.

Matt Lamb is a world renowned artist/sculptor whose works can be seen at The State Russian Museum, the Lamb-Miro Museum in Chicago, IL, Westminster Cathedral in London, The Vatican Museums of Modern Art, and Centre-Picasso in Horta, Spain. At 77 years of age, he works at his studios in Chicago, Wisconsin, Florida, Ireland and France. He is known for both his figurative and abstract modes. Two of his pieces recently sold at Christies in London for $10,000 and $19,000 respectively.
