Doyle and Teddy Wilburn hosted a syndicated television program, The Wilburn Brothers Show, from 1963 to 1974. The 30-minute show featured performances by the brother duo and invited special guests, and was one of the first of its kind to be broadcast in color. The program is revered today for providing valuable exposure to emerging artists of the time, including Loretta Lynn, who appeared regularly with the Wilburns from 1960 to 1971. This screening features two episodes from 1969 with performances by special guests George Jones, Loretta Lynn, and Tammy Wynette. One of many spectacular moments from this footage features Jones and Wynette, then newlyweds, singing together on “Milwaukee Here I Come.” Presented in support of the exhibit Tammy Wynette: First Lady of Country Music, Presented by Great American Country Television Network. 60 minutes.

      The Wilburn Brothers brought music, laughs and the best in Country Music's royalty into homes across the nation for 11 years. This episode was particularly special as it featured newlyweds George Jones and Tammy Wynette. To this day as the show still airs weekly in reruns on RFD-TV the Wilburns continue to encourage visits to the CMA Hall of Fame and love of the genre. There is so much more to the Wilburns than just this show - they deserve their place in the HOF. Collapse
