OK Go combined off-kilter guitars, Pixies/Cars fetishism, and straightforward power pop sensibilities to produce catchy songs. Although the music was both eccentric and tuneful, the band didn't find a wide audience until 2005, when the homemade video for "A Million Ways" became the most downloaded music video in history. OK Go later won a Grammy Award for a subsequent video -- this one featuring the bandmates dancing on treadmills -- but the band continued to focus on touring and recording as well, with Of the Blue Colour of the Sky marking their third release in 2010.

      One of the few bands that actually sound better in concert than their cd, a pleasant surprise. Adverse crowd of all ages was in the house. Much praise goes out to Tim Nordwind for getting the party... Expand

      One of the few bands that actually sound better in concert than their cd, a pleasant surprise. Adverse crowd of all ages was in the house. Much praise goes out to Tim Nordwind for getting the party started before the bands took the stage,Tim had his laptop plugged into the house sound sys,and had the mercy at his mercy...Hey Tim,thanks for that Adam Ant perfect timing!! Ok now to put the rumors to rest yes this was a 3D show and it did work when they were showing the 3D video for White Knuckles,Yes they had Lazer Beams and scrolling LED messages on their backs and instruments,Yes Andy left the stage and went out into the crowd to sing a song,Yes this show was filmed,all the Microphone stands had mini cams filming the band and there were a few camera men around filming the show and crowd.Yes both opening bands had good sets! And the fact that the Mercy Lounge only accommodates 500 made for an up front and in your face show!! Hurry and get your tickets for the next Ok Go show B4 it sells out! Collapse
