Faculty & Friends Concert: Hartley, Lochrie, Treybig & Reed

This chamber music recital features four Lipscomb music faculty members. Hartley has performed with the Atlanta Opera Orchestra, the New World Symphony, the National Repertory Orchestra, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Institute Orchestra. In 1991 she joined the Nashville Symphony, where she holds the position of assistant principal bassoon. Lochrie has been a member of the Nashville Symphony (with recent recordings on the Naxos and Decca labels) since 1992. Lochrie has been featured as soloist and chamber musician on WPLN’s Live in Studio C and Belmont’s Camerata chamber series, and he has premiered a clarinet quintet for the Nashville Ballet. Treybig performs regularly with the Belmont Chamber Winds and has performed with numerous wind quintets as well as other chamber ensembles such as Duo Brilliante, Diapason Wind Trio and Triptych. Jerome A. Reed, Lipscomb University professor of music, has performed extensively in the U.S., South America, and Europe. His work has been broadcast over U.S., German, and Australian Public Radio.
