    American mezzo-soprano Crystal Jarrell is a two-time regional finalist of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and was the winner of the Audience Favorite Award in the same competition in the San Diego District in 2008. She has appeared as a soloist with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra, Golden State Pops Orchestra, Indianapolis Arts Chorale, Bloomington Symphony Orchestra, Classical Chorus of Abilene, Utah Festival Opera Orchestra, and the Indiana University Chorale. The program will include arrangements of hymn standards by Amy Tate Williams of the Nashville Opera performed by Jarrell and tenor Eric Schmidt.
