In 1991, Nashville based musicians Mike Farris, Rick White, Steve Burgess, Terry Thomas and Bobby Watkins formed Screamin’ Cheetah Wheelies. In 1993, their self titled major label debut featured rock radio hits "Shakin' The Blues," "Ride The Tide" and “This Is theTime.” The Wheelies eclectic rock and soul along with incendiary live performances propelled the band to international acclaim. Magnolia, the band’s second major label offering, was named by a major European music magazine as one of the top ten releases of the nineties. Their third release, Big Wheel, contained tracks included in film and television. Independent releases Live Volumes 1 and 2 and Lamanamanumi pleased thousands of hard core fans. In the fall of 2004, the Wheelies were the sensation of the great European rock festival in Azkena, Spain. After returning to the states, they recorded the ep Ten Miles High. Soon after, when lead singer Mike Farris, left to pursure a solo career in gospel, the remaining Wheelies continued performing in various combinations. In 2009, Thundershack studio’s Brodie Hutcheson brought on board vocalist Jarrod England. With the addition of England, the Wheelies found that the chemistry and magic was rekindled, continuing the blazing funky blues rock sound that established their legend.
