This year's honorees are School of Music Alumni Drs. Daniel and Sharon Lawhon. Sharon (79), Soprano, is the Chair of the Voice Department at Samford University. Dan (83), Organist, is choirmaster and organist at the Baptist Church of the Covenant in Birmingham, Alabama and is an adjunct organ professor at Samford. The awards presentation and recital is Tuesday, September 28 in Belmont Heights Baptist Church.
