HumanDocs Film Series Presents Last Train Home

Last Train Home is an epic spectacle that tells much about China, a country discarding traditional ways as it hurtles towards modernity and global economic dominance. Every spring for the Chinese New Year, millions of migrant factory workers attempt to return home by train to the rural villages and families they left behind to seek work. The film draws us into the fractured lives of a single migrant family caught up in this desperate annual migration.

Last Train Home has won several awards at film festivals around the world, including the San Francisco International Film Festival and the International Documentary Film Festival of Amsterdam.
