Team Green Adventures is joining the East Nasty Running Club for evening runs around East Nashville. Why run with 5 people when you can run with 50?
We'll run 3-5 miles every Wednesday, followed by a refreshing drink at our favorite East Nashville watering hole. This event is great for all 5k to Half Marathon runners who want a crowd to run with.
The runs are recommended for 18 and up, after-run gatherings are 21 and up only.
Cold Weather Runs (Night Time)
For your own safety be sure to wear reflective clothing or buttons with blinking lights while running in the dark, even with a large group. In cold weather, be sure to wear moisture wicking clothing that will keep your skin dry and warm. Though you may start off very cold, your body temperature will rise dramatically throughout the run, so don't over layer!
Good running shoes, moisture wicking socks, leggins, long sleeve wicking top, scarf or neck warmer, mittens, and ear covers are the basics you'll need to keep warm in the winter months. Bring cash, a change of clothes and photo ID for drinks afterwards.
There are 12 East Nasty routes, and each week we will run the next route numerically. Always check before the run to see which route we will be running along with any announcements or changes to the plan.
