Add Review/Comment
The hit screening and discussion series, a partnership between Independent Television Service (ITVS), NPT Channel 8 and Nashville Public Library, returns for a new season. The opening film is Reel Injun: On the Trail of the Hollywood Indian. This documentary traces the history of cinema’s depiction of Native Americans, featuring interviews with Clint Eastwood, Robbie Robertson and Wes Studi, as well as the natural settings for so many iconic Westerns, including Monument Valley. The event includes light refreshments, and a panel discussion following the film.
