    Have you ever wondered why botanical gardens collect plants? Did you know that Cheekwood’s Dogwood collection contains 13 different species and over 50 unique varieties? They are just one of 18 botanical collections located throughout the gardens. From Dogwood and Boxwood to Daffodil and Daylily, there are many living treasures in Cheekwood’s botanical collections. Join Todd Breyer, local landscape architect and chair of Cheekwood’s Plant Collections Committee, and Leigh Anne Lomax, Cheekwood’s Botanical Garden Manager, to explore the history and evolution of Cheekwood’s botanical collections.
