"To say summer 2010 was an enormous success for Hollywood’s latest rock sensation would be an understatement. While the country endured record setting temperatures during July and August, Black Veil Brides emerged as one of this summer’s hottest acts, releasing a chart topping debut record, and embarking on a wildly successful headlining tour. Their debut record, We Stitch These Wounds, sold nearly 11,000 copies in its first week, good enough for #36 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, and #1 on the Billboard Independent chart. Now, Black Veil Brides will ride this summer’s wave of success into the fall on the “Entertainment or Death” tour. We Stitch These Wounds hit stores on July 20th on Standby Records. The debut record can be purchased through the Standby webstore, or on iTunes. In addition, a special deluxe edition of the album is exclusively for sale at Hot Topic stores nationally. The special packaging features a bonus track as well as an acoustic rendition of the YouTube hit “Knives and Pens. Delivering songs with lyrics of hope and strength, accompanied by passionate, hook-laden instrumentals, Black Veil Brides have taken the rock world by the throat and refuse to let go."
