"Sin by Silence" Film Screening and Discussion

As part of October Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Lipscomb University and the YWCA of Nashville and Middle Tennessee will present a screening of Sin by Silence, an exploration of domestic violence through the profiles of victims who are in prison for murder.

The after-film dialog will discuss the prevalence of family violence, warning signs of abuse, what to do if someone you know is in a domestic violence situation, how to respond and how to provide safe support and connection to resources. Please come to learn about partner abuse and find opportunities to help break the cycle of violence.
