Margaret Cuningghim Women's Center and Sarratt Gallery host Creating a Green Dot Campus, an exhibit that recognizes the current campus movement to counter negative actions with positive ones. The Women's Center acknowledges this movement through the creation of red and green dots by Vanderbilt community members. A red dot shows a negative action of power-based personal violence (intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and stalking violence); a green dot recognizes an individual's responsibility to counter a red dot action as an active, engaged member of Vanderbilt campus.

Sarratt Gallery has joined the Women's Center's initiative by inviting area artists to create their own personalized dots. In hope of campus change, the viewer can see artistic expressions of surviving an act of power-based personal violence and add "green dot moments" to our campus and lives to reduce acts of violence in our community.
