    As adults we always need to continue to learn, and learning more about beer won't be a chore at The Art of Beer on April 7. The Art of Beer is part of a tasting series at TPAC that benefits TPAC Education.

    Brewers and brewery representatives will guide us through a selection of High Gravity beers from Abita, Yazoo and Chimay. High Gravity Beer is a long-standing European tradition and is growing in popularity in the U.S. The term is used to designate specialty craft beers with an increased gravity "pull" in the fermentation process. They are higher in alcohol because they contain more sugar and other ingredients that are used to create complex, flavorful and unique beers. High gravity beers are meant to be sipped and appreciated, even paired with foods like wine.

    Appetizers will be served, including pizza from The Mellow Mushroom, hot dogs and brats from The Dog of Nashville, and an assortment of cheeses provided by Cabot Creamery of Vermont - maker of "the world's best cheddar!"
