L.A.S. Therapy Network and Development Group, Inc., Non-Profit Organization, “Laughter is the Best Medicine” Health and Arts Program, celebrates the 7th Annual December Gala at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel.

Come dressed in formal attire, bring your family & friends, then enjoy our catered reception featuring the Cremona Strings Ensemble Too, dance to the rhythms of Off the Hook Band, participate in health screenings, and more in specifically designed theaters, education halls, and/or vendors areas for children and adults. 

Our activities include, but are not limited to the following:

Children’s Theater: Shrine Circus Clowns featuring ‘Mater Juice’; Cama Boys Choir; TSU Cultural Arts and Music Academy activities; story-time; Malone Dance Studio performances; Chris ‘PM on Character’ Jones; gift raffle; and more.

Visual Arts Exhibit: Artists Michael McBride, Erin Anfinson, Cindy Birdsong, and Donna Hampton Lewis display their unique paintings, sketches, and other creations while educating guests who appreciate their exhibits. Donna Lee Butler provides visual photograph displays also.

Adults’ Theater: NewsChannel5 Meteorologist/Talk Show Host Lelan A. Statom and TN Regulatory Authority Community Outreach Representative Vivian Michael-Wilhoite Honorees Celebration; NashvilleStandUp.com Comedians Leslie Nash and John Bowman; Dorothy Leeds in the New York Broadway theater performance, Good Lessons from Bad Women; two-time Grammy Nominee Jazz Artists Joe Johnson; and gift raffle with silent auction.

Silent Auction: Henig Furs has provided two [2] silent auction Mink Strollers. To view these beautiful furs visit the Grace’s Plaza Henig Furs location.

      Once again, Lisa Spells has put together a creative way to focus on the needs of those in the area of Language and Speech. Through this gala, very children friendly, styled event, she brings attention to preventive steps with a proactive not reactive approach to a person's health. This is an event that is a must see and attend. This is an event that you do not want to miss next year!!! Lots of fun, food, giveaways and most importantly health empowerment!!
