Candlelight Vigil in Rememberance of those Affected by Bullying
October 27, 2010
Add Review/CommentThe recent suicides by teenagers who had been bullied and/or harassed for being perceived to be gay has disturbed the GLBT community to it's core. How is it gay and lesbian adults are out living life, liberty, and pursuing happiness, yet these children have been left behind? Following PREVENTING GAY BULLYING AND SUICIDES, the informational session about suicide in the GLBTQI population, the Music City Sisters will lead a candle light vigil along Church Street. We ask anyone concerned about the hostile isolation so many GLBTQI youth endure in Tennessee to join us to remember those who did not survive.
