Watkins College of Art, Design & Film will continue its 125th Anniversary Artist Lecture Series on January 27, 2011, featuring T.L. Solien.  Satirical and macabre, Solien’s paintings are ambiguous and introspective. Familiar pop imagery is tossed up in a vague world of humor and drama. His art can be found in numerous private and public collections worldwide including the Tate Gallery in London, the National Gallery of Australia, the Singapore Art Museum, the Whitney Museum, the Smithsonian Institute and the National Museum of American Art and the Art Institute of Chicago.

All Artist Lecture events will be held in the campus theater.
