    SCORE_UNDERSCORE! explores how music sets the tone and feel of a movie and how composers approach the scoring of films. Three Nashville-based composers, Scott Brasher, Brooke Waggoner and Mark Beall, will each have one short film “project” and all will write music for the fourth film. While the audience views the films, the scores will be performed live by some of Nashville’s finest musicians. Instrument combinations and musical style differ according to the whim of the composer. SCORE_UNDERSCORE! is a Sacred Space for the City Arts Series event produced in collaboration with the Nashville Composers Association with funding from the Tennessee Arts Commission and Friends of the Cathedral.

    A reception to meet the composers will follow the performance.
