Human Rights Day Celebration 2010

At the Nashville Downtown Public Library, more than 220 people are gathering to learn about human rights and honor those who have supported human rights across the world. Please join us! Those who will be honored this year for their work: Don Beiswenger, Jocelyn Wurzberg and Rev. Dr. Tommie Morton Young.
There will be a panel discussion which will hear from: Kasar Abdulla (with TIRRC), Father Joseph Breen, Dr. Oscar Miller, Hedy Weinberg (with TN ACLU) and Jose Gonzales (with Conexion Americas). The panel will discuss the issues and challenges facing human rights defenders today.
