HOLIDAY & SEASONAL

38th Annual Carter House Candlelight Tour at Carnton
December 11-December 12, 2010
Add Review/Comment
Since 1972, this tradition has highlighted Franklin’s rich heritage by featuring homes decorated for the season. This year’s tour has been scheduled to coincide with another Franklin tradition, Dickens of a Christmas, hosted by the Heritage Foundation. The tour takes place over two evenings, and tickets are good for both nights. Guests may enjoy the sites on the tour at their own pace. The majority of the sites this year are located in Franklin’s first subdivision, Hincheyville. Each home and site was chosen as an example of the finest that historic Franklin has to offer. If you arrive at just the right moment, you might hear choir music performed at the churches or Santa spreading cheer throughout the streets
