Lexus Nashville Fashion Week is a city-wide celebration of Nashville’s thriving fashion and retail community and its vast array of creative talent—featuring local, regional and national design talent in fashion events and shows, and encouraging both Nashvillians and visitors to explore the city’s diverse fashion and retail spaces throughout the week with promotions, partnerships and educational workshops.

Fashion, promotion and marketing have real economic impact on our city, and Lexus Nashville Fashion Week will promote these industries in a way that’s never been done before in Tennessee. Nashville’s heralded community spirit—and our concentration of creative, fashion-forward and entrepreneurial talent—makes this the ideal time to launch our own fashion week. Nashville Fashion Week will consist of 5 nightly runway shows featuring 25 designers and several pre- and post-show parties. Line-up and locations are as follows:

Tuesday, March 29th at 7:30pm at The Pinnacle, 150 3rd Avenue South, Nashville, 22nd Floor featuring Jamie and the Jones, Akiko, Sylvia Heisel, Kevork Kiledjian, Loretta Jane. The Cambria Kickoff Party, celebrating Manuel, with special guest Cheryl Tiegs, will be hosted by Suzy Wong's House of Yum, 1517A Church Street, Nashville at 9:30pm. (You do NOT need to purchase a separate ticket to this party if you’ve already purchased a pass/ticket for Tuesday runway show. If you only want to attend this party, however, you must purchase a $10 ticket online or at the door (and present proof of age at door). Tickets are limited.)

Wednesday, March 30th at 7:30pm at The Arcade, between 4th and 5th Avenues North, Nashville featuring Melissa Tabor, T. Rains, Gado Gado, Betsey Johnson, Ben Sherman. A pre-show cocktail reception will take place at the Rymer Gallery, 233 5th Avenue North, Nashville from 6:30pm-7:30pm. (You must be a pass/ticket holder for Wednesday runway shows to attend.)

Thursday, March 31st at 7:30pm at Crystal Fountain Church, 1003 Russell Street, Nashville featuring Olia Zavozina, White Rabbit, Cooper by Courtney Warren, Union of Angels, Christian Siriano. A pre-show reception with photographer Drew Doggett will take place at The Arts Company, 215 5th Avenue North, Nashville from 4:00pm-6:00pm. (This is a private reception for Nashville Fashion Week Insider Pass holders.)

Friday, April 1st at 7:30pm at War Memorial Auditorium, 301 6th Avenue North, Nashville featuring Coquette, Norma Clare, Julianna Bass, Katharine Kidd, Gustavo Cadile. The "Homegrown Nashville" After Party, featuring playlists by imogene + willie and live music, will be hosted by Nashville Farmers Market, 900 Rosa Parks Boulevard, Nashville at 9:30pm. (You do NOT need to purchase a separate ticket to this party if you’ve already purchased a pass/ticket for Friday runway show. If you only want to attend this party, however, you must purchase a $10 ticket online or at the door (and present proof of age at door). Tickets are limited.)

Saturday, April 2nd at 7:30pm at The Pinnacle, 150 3rd Avenue South, Nashville, 22nd Floor featuring Aman Stovall, Valentine Valentine, Leona, Robert Graham, Steven OO. The "AM Style Lounge" Wrap Party, hosted by Arnold Myint will take place at The Pinnacle following Saturday's show at 9:00pm. (Insider and All Access Pass holders do NOT need to purchase a separate ticket for the AM Style Lounge. Individual ticket holders for Saturday runway shows must purchase a separate $25 ticket (online or at the door) for the AM Style Lounge. Tickets are limited.)

As part of Lexus Nashville Fashion Week, Kelly Cutrone, CEO and founder of People’s Revolution, best-selling author and television personality, will talk about her career as a leading fashion publicist and brand strategist. She will also share insights from her book, If You Have to Cry, Go Outside. The book will be available for purchase. Cutrone’s talk is scheduled for April 1, 2011 at Noon at the Belcourt Theatre. A post-event reception with Kelly Cutrone take place at Sunset Grill, 2001 Belcourt Avenue, Nashville from 2:00pm-3:00pm. (This is a private reception for Nashville Fashion Week Insider Pass holders.)

On Wednesday, March 30 and Thursday, March 31, Lipscomb University's Exell Center will host The Art, Craft and Business of Fashion: Fashion Industry Panels from Noon - 3:00pm each day. Wednesday's panels include: The Fashion Ad at Noon featuring Michael Howard, photographer, Amanda McRae, fashion/wardrobe stylist, and Salome Steinman, model; Bravo’s “Make Me a Supermodel”; and Retail Reality at 1:45pm featuring Jacob Keiser, visual merchandiser, David Levy, co-owner, Levy’s, Rhett Murdaugh, manager, Imogene + willie, and Dena Ferrell Nance, owner and founder, what’s-in-store.

Thursday's panels include: Where Fashion and Web 2.0 Collide at Noon featuring Dave Delaney, social media strategist (davemadethat.com), Nicholas Holland, CEO, Centresource Interactive Agency, Rachel Lang, marketing director, Project Artisan, and Zarna Surti, blogger (Zarna’s Runway); and American Luxury at 1:45pm featuring Jeff Garner, designer, Prophetik, Robin Keyser, founder, Project Artisan, and Matt Springer, manager, Billy Reid.

Items from Lipscomb’s Halston collection will be on display throughout the afternoon. Lipscomb is fortunate to own an outstanding collection of garments, portfolios, patterns, and other memorabilia from the house of Halston. It is one of the finest collections of its type, and is an outstanding example of historical costumes from a 20th century designer.

On Saturday, April 2, Nash Fash Dash, sponsored by whats-in-store, Yelp, AmosEvents and Terrazzo, will take place at Terrazzo, Ground Floor, 700 12th Avenue South, Nashville from 10:00am-2:00pm. Nash Fash Dash is the perfect Saturday shopping experience! Lots of local style and special offers, all in one easy location.

More than 20 local boutiques and vendors, including Hemline, the French Shoppe, Mekong Blue, Roya, Muse, UAL, Sleeveless, Jester's Art and whats-in-store will feature clothing, jewelry, shoes, scarves, handbags, vintage and fashion-related gifts. The FREE event will also feature mini-makeovers, DJ, Yelp photo booth and goody bags (for first 300 shoppers). Complimentary food and drink from DrinkHaus, Cha Chah and Provence will be served.

Ticket proceeds from Lexus Nashville Fashion Week will benefit the newly established Nashville Fashion Forward Fund, to be administered by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. The Nashville Fashion Forward Fund.will be awarded annually to advance the career of select local talent with demonstrated experience in a fashion-related field. Look for further details and application materials online in May 2011. Applications will be due in August 2011, with an award announcement in November.

Nashville Fashion Week is founded and directed by Creative Co-op Nashville LLC, a collaboration of fashion, retail and media professionals who have partnered to combine resources and passion to create an event that spotlights Nashville’s growing fashion industry.
