Recognized nationally and around the globe, the Fisk Jubilee Singers, under the current direction of Paul T. Kwami, continue an enduring tradition begun in 1871. Their artistry and sincerity evoked a popular enthusiasm through the courts and concert halls around the world introducing the Negro Spiritual. The winner of a 2008 National Medal of Honor, the ensemble believes there can and must be peace in this world as well as greater understanding and love among all peoples of this earth. And to this end, the Fisk Jubilee Singers minister through song to the hearts of all who listen to them.

This event takes place in the Concert Hall.
