Did you think that only today's loud, sweaty, electric-guitar-wielding, leather-pant screamers invented sex, drugs and rock-n-roll? No, the finer points of living life with gusto and enjoying it with adventurous refreshment and amorous company have been with us for a long, long time.

Take a walk on the old-fashioned wild side as the Nashville Early Music Project closes out its debut season with the rollicking 'Wine, Women and Song: Music of the English Streets and Taverns.' Hear raucous drinking songs, bawdy tales of wooing gone awry, and other broadsides and ballads from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.

Have a ripping good time, maybe join in for a verse or two. But, please, sing responsibly.
