 It's that time of year again. Are you wondering what would make the perfect gift for your favorite rollergirl? Or are you wondering what would make the perfect gift for yourself? The Nashville Rollergirls are excited to announce our first derby boot camp! Are you a current derby skater interested in learning some new skills or honing your strategy? Whether you are at the intermediate or advanced level, our camp will have something for you. Training is structured by position and will be provided by skaters with years of experience. In addition to positional training, we’ll offer courses that include topics from game preparation and nutrition to techniques for keeping your cool.

Camp topics will include:

• Speed training and form
• Skate maintenance and gear talk
• The importance of having a good Pivot
• Wingman rules (blockers 1 and 2)
• Power blocker dos and don’ts
• What makes a good jammer
• Nutrition and fitness
• Coaching/captaining tips
• Footage review
• Scrimmage!
