HealthSpring Senior Day

Nashville Zoo and HealthSpring are partnering for Senior Day on Friday, Sept. 16. From 9:00am-4:00pm, adults age 65 and older get free admission to the Zoo.

Senior Day is back by popular demand from Nashville’s senior community. Keeper talks will be at various animal exhibits throughout the day, and an animal show will be presented in the Zoo’s amphitheater at 11:00am. The young and young-at-heart can also enjoy rides on the Wild Animal Carousel and adventures through Lorikeet Landing with more than 50 Australian parrots. There is a $5 parking fee per vehicle.

Senior Day at the Zoo is the result of a partnership between Nashville Zoo and HealthSpring. HealthSpring is based in Nashville, Tenn., and is one of the country’s largest Medicare Advantage coordinated care plans. HealthSpring currently owns and operates Medicare Advantage plans in Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington, D.C.
