After a recent sellout tour, the Royal Comedy Tour returns to the road in 2011 and will stop at Nashville Municipal Auditorium. With Sommore, D.L. Hughley, Tony Rock, Corey Holcomb, Damon Williams, the tour features some of the hottest stand-up comedians in the industry.

Whether you like to call her "fly," call her "frank," call her "fierce" or simply like to call her "funny," she is without a doubt the foremost female comedian in the country today. She has fearlessly changed the face of funny; she is the chick that has changed the game; she is the sister that's making men and women stand up whenever she hits the stage. She is Sommore.

Oprah proclaimed her a “force to be reckoned with in the new millennium” and if her name didn't tell it all, her diva style, demeanor and delivery will. Every time Sommore hits the stage she gives audiences of all different ages and races, more of what they want and more of what they've come to expect from her during the span of her 15 year career in the business.

"I don't apologize for who I am. I am an adult woman doing adult comedy," said Sommore. "I believe in looking like a lady and sounding like one of the boys. That's who I am--an adult comedian. I simply say the things that people think about, but don't have the nerves to say. I say it."

Last year, the 20-city Royal Comedy Tour saw unparallel success from night to night with sold out shows across the country. Alongside Sommore, the tour also starred comedian D.L. Hughley and featured Bruce Bruce and Don "D.C." Curry. This year, Sommore is once again headlining the tour, with D.L., Bruce Bruce and Don "D.C." Curry returning for the tour, along with some new faces, including Tony Rock and Damon Williams, who will be appearing in select cities. DL Hughley, Tony Rock, Corey Holcomb and Damon Williams will be joining her for the show in Nashville.

"It was very important to me to bring the best people, with the best material, who simply know how to bring it night after night together," said Sommore. "We all have put our egos aside to work together with a great promoter to basically stand and deliver show after successful show without fail on this tour."

The Royal Comedy Tour marks the first time, on a tour this extensive and of this magnitude, that a female comedian has headlined above her widely renown and noted male counterparts. Not only, has Sommore throughout the years set the trend for other female comedians to follow, but she is also now setting the bar for her female counterparts to stand up and take notice on how it's done. Sommore has proven to have had paramount, tantamount success in the comedy circuit with her male counterparts, effortlessly holding her own while others have faded into the background.

If it's uncensored, unapologetic, hard hitting and hilarious, you will hear it on The Royal Comedy Tour. Lines will be crossed and nothing will be off limits on the tour as Sommore and members of her royal court light up the stage with their high-spirited humor and rousing routines. If it makes news, they will mock it, if it hits the headlines they will hammer it, if it fires people up, they will make fun of it and if it's going down in the bedroom, they will bring it up. Just like last year, The Royal Comedy Tour will be the can’t miss comedy tour of the year.

"The Royal Comedy Tour is standup at its best. It's the hottest female comedian in the country with the hottest male comedians in the country," added Sommore. "Whether we're talking about issues in the community, what's on TV, the state of our economy or just our lives in general, one thing you can trust and believe is that it will be funny. You will identify with it, be enlightened by it, maybe even floored in a good way by it, but it will be funny."
