World Harmony Interfaith Breakfasts

Wisdom House, an initiative of Scarritt-Bennett Center, fosters inter-religious understanding and community sharing in the wisdom of the world's religions.

Wisdom House will host the Tennessee State Interfaith Harmony Breakfast on February 2. Immediately after the breakfast, Scarritt Bennett will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Wisdom House.

Rabbi Rami Shapiro, director of Scarritt Bennett’s Wisdom House and co-founder of World Interfaith Harmony Breakfasts, will speak to breakfast attendees about “The Real Promise of Interfaith Dialogue.” Musical entertainment will be provided by Karen Renée Robb with New Day (Kevin Schlatt, Brent Kimbro and Dawn-joy Thornton). In addition, Yvonne Smith, who was recently named president of the Nashville chapter of the Positive Music Association, will perform. Sheikh Mohammad Jamal will provide Turkish Sufi music.
