    On Thursday, February 10th, the museum will be presenting a showing of An American Tradition: From Concept to Exhibition. This presentation will also include a special lecture by the photographer David R. Farmerie.

    David Robert Farmerie will discuss An American Tradition from the conceptualization of the documentary, through shooting, editing, printing and preparing it for the exhibition. Two years in the making, this extraordinary look into the lives, and work, of the Dark Fired tobacco farmer of Middle Tennessee. Acclaimed the world over, for this unique tobacco, David shines a brilliant light aon the traditions of this vanishing farming practice.

    Admission to this event is free. The presentation will begin at 12:15pm. Guests are enouraged to bring their bagged lunches to enjoy during the presentation.

    Helpful Information: Children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and in all areas of the Museum. Free parking for Museum visitors is available behind the Museum at the top of the hill off South Second Street.
