Jiha Moon was born in Korea and now lives and works in Atlanta. Throughout her artistic career, Moon’s multivalent paintings have operated in several distinctive yet visually cohesive realms. She received her Master of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa in 2002. Her work has been showcased at premier New York venues including Asia Society and Museum, The Drawing Center, and White Columns, and in other solo and group exhibitions worldwide. Her work is in the permanent collection of many prestigious museums, including the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington, D.C.; the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Richmond, Virginia; and
the High Museum, Atlanta, Georgia.
