After four years of touring Latin America, the UK, Europe and the USA, Intimate Stranger - an international band formed in 2006 by Chilean guitarist Lautaro Stranger (Cucsifae, Don Fango, Disturbio Menor) and English/Croatian singer/bassist Tessie Stranger, has finally had the breakthrough they deserve with the release of their second album “Under” in June 2010. As of November 2010 the band is now based in Austin, Texas, adding new drummer Victor Ziolkowski and with a widespread 2011 US tour.

This show also features live music from Kat Smo & Rene Breton.

      This was an excellent evening all round, with a particularly impressive set from newcomers Rene Breton, plus the silky voice of Kat Smo, opening up for headliner, Intimate Stranger. Intimate Stranger had a superb show, with Tessie Stranger, getting everyone on their feet and dancing to tracks such as Under and Beastie Queen. The Latter bringing the house down. The sound at The End really worked in their favor as it gave a luscious tinge to Tessie's vocals and made the band as tight as it gets. This really was a great show and I can now see what all the buzz around the band is about. Collapse
