Rod McGaha, Jazz Trumpet
February 25, 2011
Add Review/Comment
Chase away the winter blues as Rod McGaha's sizzling trumpet and big band sound rock the rafters of Christ Church Cathedral. The Sacred Space for the City Arts Series annual Black History Month Celebration--celebrating the vibrant contributions of the most-talented black artists--will feature brand new compositions with McGaha on trumpet and the big band sound of the newly-created United for Peace Orchestra. The Orchestra is hand picked from the best of the Nashville jazz community. But this new sound, however, will not deter Rod's trademark laid-back, mellow sound and many familiar and beloved jazz tunes.
