Comedian Billy Gardell, the star of CBS’ hit sitcom MIKE & MOLLY where he plays Officer Mike Biggs, is taking his act on the road. Billy’s current stand-up tour comes on the heels of his one hour Comedy Central stand-up special – BILLY GARDELL: HALFTIME which premieres on February 5. BILLY GARDELL: HALFTIME comes out on DVD on February 8.

Billy’s stand-up is for the everyman where on stage he rants about modern life - everything from new medicine and hand sanitizers to the rules of marriage, parenting and technology overloda. On stage, it’s just Billy and a microphone and his thoughts. Billy isn’t your average Hollywood success story. No GQ genetics, no family in the business, no coattails to ride. He took the long road to get here, stopping at every small town honky-tonk, military base, and comedy club along the way. Anywhere he could find a live audience.

Gardell built quite an impressive acting resume for himself with regular guest appearances on My Name is Earl, The Practice, Yes Dear, Monk, Desperate Housewives, as well as a co-starring role in the critically acclaimed FX series, Lucky. On the big screen, Gardell made his film debut alongside Anthony Quinn and Sylvester Stallone in Avenging Angelo and afterwards scored a rather memorable scene with Billy Bob Thornton in the Cohen Brother’s Bad Santa.
