Thursday and Friday evenings through April 29, 2011, visitors will be encouraged to discover their own curatorial skills as they develop descriptive stories based on the works of Simen Johan: Until Kingdom Comes. Visitors will be asked to consider the works of Simen Johan as well as Animal Farm, a novel by George Orwell. Considering both together may help to catapult the imagination beyond conceptions of the unequivocal loyalty of animals to idealistic or utopian thoughts of a world without humans.

This activity has been developed in conjunction with Simen Johan: Until Kingdom Comes, which is on view in the Gordon Contemporary Artist Project Gallery through May 29. The art-making activity in the Grand Lobby is free and open to all visitors.
