Scarritt-Bennett Center will host In the Midst of Lent, a half-day, mid-Lent retreat designed to provide space/time for prayer, reflection, silence and conversation. The retreat offers a special time to join with others in preparation for Holy Week and Easter. Participants will use scriptures, hymns and contemporary writings to stimulate thinking and reflection. Scarritt-Bennett’s Skinner Chapel and labyrinth will also be available to retreat participants.

 

 

 

 

Scarritt-Bennett Center is a nonprofit conference, retreat and education center committed to addressing social justice issues through programming that promotes cross-cultural understanding, education on women’s issues and spiritual renewal. The center is located on ten peaceful acres in the heart of Nashville, Tenn. Income from the rental of the center’s historic facilities for meetings, conferences, events and overnight accommodations supports the center’s efforts.
